Made my first batch of peanute brittle...not bad...probable needed to cook it a little longer...reached 300F but didn't get to the right color...a pale peanutebutter color and a little chewy instead of crunchie and a golden peanutebutter color. Anyway, can you freeze brittle and do you keep it at room temp if you're going to munch on it on occassion or should you keep it in the fridge?

I would sprinkle on powdered sugar on it and layer it between wax paper, then put it in an air tight container in a cool dry place. This should make it last a long time.

I dont know about freezing it, I would have to test that. But I wouldnt put it in the fridge, I would try to keep it in as little humidity as possible.
