The Hitter
I thought he was impressive prior to getting hurt. I think he was getting about 6 ypc at one time. Is he in the coach's doghouse or something? Seems like Shanahan is avoiding letting the guy play, and starting WW players over him. What's the deal? My only other RB is JLewis and I can't afford another 7 yard day from him. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
Big John
Aren't you a Broncos fan? He is still injured and listed as questionable this week.
The Hitter
Hugh Broncos fan, BJ. That's why I'm so frustrated. I've gone through every resource I have and all I get is that no one knows. I've seen that he's practicing this week, but for some reason, Shanny won't mention him, let alone play him. I love the guy and think he could be a top 10 RB in their system, but the Rat seems to have an agenda against him. Given the tightrope that the coach is walking right now regarding the last few years, and the ridiculous amount of injuries to our RBs, I just can't understand his unwillingness to play this guy if he's healthy. I was hoping a huddler in Denver had a more direct line to someone in the 'know' as far as his status for this weekend. Again, TIA.
Bronco Billy
Rocky Mountain News today says he is finally practicing full time, full speed. Shanahan states that he is getting into football shape. That smells like a few carries this weekend to me.
