RussMan
Joseph Addai (shoulder) missed his second straight day of practice Thursday. Addai is looking less and less likely to be available against Detroit. At best, he'll be a game-time decision. In the last four weeks, no team has surrendered more rushing yards, yards per carry, or rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs than the Lions have - by far. Detroit Lions Vs. RB position per game: Rushing Yds 188.8 Run TD 2.25 Receiving Yds 36 Edited December 11, 2008 by RussMan
CaptainHook
they'll be safe and not play Addai. That's how Dungy operates.

tazinib1
And Ill play Rhoads and win the championship, thats how I operate BOOOYA!! I'm starting Rhodes over LJ with supreme confidence as my #3 RB. I'll need everything I can get to offset MJD's monster game this weekend. Puddy
If this happens I'm going with Rhodes over Michael Turner on Sunday...I think.
RussMan
If Rhodes is to get all the carries the matchup is too good not to take advantage of. I'll have to bench either Slaton vs Titans or LT @ Chiefs. I hate benching Slaton he has been there for me week in and week out. But next to the Lions KC is as about as bad as it gets vs the run as well. Edited December 13, 2008 by RussMan
Steelhead
And Ill play Rhoads and win the championship, thats how I operate BOOOYA!! And I'll play Rhodes over Gore and Hightower. Cant see why I wouldn't
loaf
IF Addai is out, I'll go with Rhodes. IF not, SMorris
RussMan
The Indianapolis Star expects Dominic Rhodes to be the Colts' starting tailback in Week 15 against Detroit. The Star anticipates Chad Simpson (ankle) and Joseph Addai (shoulder, knee) sitting out and Lance Ball coming up from the practice squad. Detroit's run defense has lost top DT Cory Redding for the year and surrenders 5.0 yards per carry. It also has served up 23 rushing touchdowns this season, the most in the NFL. Seahawks21
picked up Rhodes this week and starting him in the playoffs...against the Addai owner no less! I've also got Peyton and Clark. If this is another one of those 13-9 ugly Colts wins I may retire.

CaptainHook
Addai being a game time decision is Colts-speak for "he ain't gonna play".
Steelhead
I've got T Jones, Gore, Hightower, and got Rhodes a couple weeks ago as an afterthought in a trade. I'm gonna dust him off this week to start in place of Gore. Way better option than Hightower at this point. Nevermind I traded D Williams for Hightower earlier in the season.... ts
FWIW: • 14DEC08 AM FoxSports : The Colts say that RB Joseph Addai will suit up, but Dominic Rhodes will start against the winless Lions. Colts safety Bob Sanders will be a game-time decision, but it sounds like coach Tony Dungy is leaning toward holding him out and saving him for Thursday's game at Jacksonville. Lions QB Dan Orlovsky starts for injured Daunte Culpepper and Drew Stanton is supposed to be the backup.
