isleseeya
i simply cant get myself to believe in Tenn and today is another reason why with a weak loss to Titans I think Steelers are better than them , Ravens are better than them , Jets are better than them and I believe Colts would beat them if they meet in playoffs ...thats 4 teams just in the AFC that i beleive are better

Gunther
awful decision by Fisher to go for it on 4th down instead of trying the fg today Absolutely. 49 yarder is no gimme, but Bironas has been very good.
HowboutthemCowboys
awful decision by Fisher to go for it on 4th down instead of trying the fg today that was awful. and why not run it if you're gonna be stupid and go for it? terrible. Shorttynaz
I think AFC is the steelers to lose now. Some may see this as a little far fetched, but since Indy's piss poor 3-4 start to the season they've rattled off now 7 straight - ONE of which was a win IN Sh!ttsburgh.. keggerz
Indy seems to be flying under the radar and right now would be my pick to make the SB for the AFC
tonyr0802
Indy seems to be flying under the radar and right now would be my pick to make the SB for the AFC I hope you're right, but I'm not feeling it. I constantly watch them play down to their opponents level and that scares me. They should be able to put away the teams that can't match up. No offense to DET or CLE fans, but the Colts should have walked away from these games with easy wins and had to fight for each win.
TitansFan
awful decision by Fisher to go for it on 4th down instead of trying the fg today This was my initial reaction as well. However, after reading reports from people who were at the game and some post-game interviews, I believe that Fisher made the correct call in going for it and throwing it. Yes he did make a mistake in not taking the wind in the 4th quarter which would have changed the situation, but in my opinion the fault lies with Collins for not converting in that situation. Chris Johnson had made a move on the MLB and was open in the flat, had Collins thrown to him it would've been an easy first down. Not to mention throwing to McCareins is never a very good idea in any situation. As for the call to go for it, like I said I believe Fisher made the right decision. Had they tried the kick, it would've been about 50 yards. He did make a 50 yarder earlier in the game, but that was with the wind, while the 4th down play was into the wind. In pregame warmups, Bironas had missed at least 4 attempts in a row into the wind from about 50 yards out, all falling about 5 yards short. In a post game interview, Bironas said that Fisher asked him if he could make it, to which he replied he really didn't think so but would give it a shot. Given that, I wouldn't have kicked it either. pseudolefty
The Haynesworth injury is HUGE. That guy is one of the most dominant D-Lineman in football. I wouldn't go as far as saying Tennessee is done if he's out, but they sure become less threatening on defense. They still have a lot of good players on D, but Haynesworth is the key cog. I can't recall the nos. from last year, but I know there was a period Haynesworth was battling with injury and teams definitely had more success rushing in games that Hayneworth was out. Speaking of run stuffers, I thought I also saw Pat Wliliams of the Vikes go out yesterday. I didn't see further update on him.

Agree 100%... And as a result, and after watching the final Pittsburgh drive yesterday, I can safely say that I believe the Steelers are the elite of the AFC. Completely dominating on defense, and if Big Ben can throw darts to Ward, Holmes and Washington all day, they are going to be tough to beat. To put it another way... they are not going to outscore anyone with only their offense.
TitansFan
Update on both Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch The Titans will be without two of their top defensive linemen – Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch -- for the final two games of the regular season, but expect both back for the playoffs. An MRI on Haynesworth’s left knee on Monday confirmed he suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday’s 13-12 loss to the Texans. It’s an injury that usually takes roughly 2 weeks to heal, Coach Jeff Fisher said. Also on Monday, Fisher said the team sent Vanden Bosch for further tests on his injured groin, and doctors decided he needs to undergo minor surgery to repair a muscle. The groin injury has caused Vanden Bosch to miss Sunday’s game, as well as three others this season. “I’ll look at this as good news, we’re expected to have them both back for the playoffs,’’ Fisher said. “We were all very concerned about Albert’s condition after the game. … There is no doubt in our mind that he’ll be back (for the playoffs). “The specialist has every reason to think (Kyle) will also be back for the playoffs. So we have good new there as it relates to Kyle and Albert.’’ The Titans play the Steelers on Sunday at LP Field.
Flip_Side
Indy seems to be flying under the radar and right now would be my pick to make the SB for the AFC No way. They're play has not been as good as the standings show. That win in Pittsburgh shouldn't have happened either if Ben didn't make a stupid decision at the end of the game. The Steelers played like complete crap that game.
