dopple
Anyone know if he's playing or not? Have to decide on playing him or Choice and haven't seen any news yet, other than Barber being a GTD
notamomo
FWIW Marion Barber is active for Sunday Night Football against the Giants. Use Barber (toe, calf) at your own risk. There are strong indications his role will be limited and he's no sure bet to make it through many plays. The Cowboys' inactives are CB Adam Jones, S Courtney Brown, RB Alonzo Coleman, LB Steve Octavien, G Montrae Holland, G Joe Berger, third QB Brooks Bollinger, and WR Isaiah Stanback. Miles Austin returns and will likely return kicks. | 12/14/2008 6:59:00 PM

boilerbacker31
Per CBS Sportsline: Appearing on The NFL Today, analyst Charley Casserly reported that he expects to see Cowboys rookie RB Tashard Choice start and see meaningful carries against the Giants in Week 15. Casserly reports that Barber has been able to run straight without incident but still cannot make cuts thanks to his dislocated right pinkie toe. He will work out before the game and could be declared inactive or only see limited reps. Analysis: We'll know whether or not Barber will be active for Week 15 about an hour before kickoff (7:15 p.m. ET) on Sunday. We don't like the idea of playing Barber even if he is active since he's not likely to be effective since he can't do anything but run in a straight line. That might make him a candidate to work at the goal line, but you can forget about much else. Choice should be reconsidered as a No. 3 Fantasy RB for this week, especially in leagues where receptions count.
Ralph Furley
I'm in the same situation in a very close game. I'm leaning towards Choice...
Jedi
I'm just guessing but since Coleman is inactive, I'd think Barber must be feeling pretty good. There's some weight to this idea. Are teams allowed to change "inactive" status? Could the Cowboys deactivate Barber and reacivate Coleman just before kickoff?

chinatown dragons
well, right now, no sign of Tashard Choice....!!!
electricrelish
well, right now, no sign of Tashard Choice....!!! I am in the playoffs losing by 100.40 to 100.15. The other team still has Cleveland's defense. I started Choice thinking he would be involved. So far no dice. I may have just completely screwed myself. Based on what I read, Barber would be used but limited, but it doesn't look like that at all. Arrrgh!

HowboutthemCowboys
Barber doesnt look right neither does the O-line. Like what I've seen from Choice the last 2 games though.
