According to the San Francisco Chronicle, 49ers coach Mike Singletary said after Wednesday's practice that he expects Frank Gore (ankle) to play in Week 16.Analysis: This wasn't mentioned in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat or Sacramento Bee, which only indicated that Singletary was cautiously optimistic about Gore facing St. Louis. Fantasy owners still need to track the situation because Gore will likely be a game-time decision. But things are looking up for now. I dunno. still awfully tough to pull the trigger and start him.
