Grits and Shins
Please PLEASE PLEASE come to Dallas next year. Pretty Please. With Sugar on top.
Pratts
I was listening to local sportsradio today and it was suggested that Jerry Jones and Danny Snyder will get into such a bidding war for Cowher that when all is said and done he will become the highest paid coach in all of professional sports. muck
I am wondering (hoping?) if KC would be in that mix at all as Cowher has ties to KC (he was the DC under Schottenheimer before going to PIT).
whomper
No way Cowher comes to Dallas IMO.
Randall
Maybe they should have kept Sparano or another Parcells like disciplinarian. Did they promise Jason Garrett the job?

caddyman
nope, cleveland has first dibs on cowher!! Sorry Cleveland, KC....There is no way this egomaniac goes to one of those two teams over the Cowboys or the Redskins. Not going to happen. Not going to happen. What makes Cowher an egomaniac ? I don't see any way that he coaches for an owner like JJ or Snyder. I still believe that he will end up in Cleveland, but, Kansas City wouldn't shock me either.
Cyre
He is already rumored to have bought a house here in the Cleveland area, Streetsboro actually.
tazinib1
Cowher in San Diego would be freaken fantastic. Oh wait...we already have whats his face. Nevermind.
FishFreak
KC looks like the best fit to come in turn things around and look like a hero. KC has some pieces and high draft picks. Dallas has a hands on owner that gets in the way and boom or bust expectations. The Browns are a good 2nd option. I would love to be his agent right now.... In addtion to all the local lore, I have heard his former players say the same thing. Bettis was on local radio the other day saying how it was ironic that Cowher used to try and say how arrogant Brian Billick was, when Cowher was every bit if not more arrogant. The only way he ends up in either of those towns is if he gets total control, which will be a disaster. Putting ego aside, where would you want to go as a head coach? One of the top franchises in the league, or one of the two jokes?

Not yet anyway. In Pittsburgh I think it was about team dominance wasn't it?

I could care less about the ego, as long as he can coach. I am just pointing out that he did not leave the Steelers to go coach the Browns or Chiefs. He is very Parcells like, he wants a big challenge on a big stage.

One of the top franchises in the league, or one of the two jokes? Hmm, if I am reading your thoughts on this matter correctly then I would whole handly disagree that the Chiefs Franchise is a "joke". I see Clark Hunt as a young owner that can make his mark in the NFL right here and now in the next yew years making his father pretty happy from above. I see a franchise that has the potential to do great things now, change is a good thing. This is how strongly I felt against the path this organization took under Carl. Carl was a businessman, not a Football GM.
tosberg34
What ever happened to Dallas' annointed son Jason Garrett as head coach? I thought Wade Phillips was just a placeholder for him. Why the rush for Cowher when you have a coach in waiting?
piratesownninjas
No way Cowher comes to Dallas IMO. Cowher would only coach if he has control of his team. Jerry Jones in my opinion won't go back to a coach that runs the team and doesn't give him free reign on every facet of the team. What ever happened to Dallas' annointed son Jason Garrett as head coach? I thought Wade Phillips was just a placeholder for him. Why the rush for Cowher when you have a coach in waiting? Red Headed Jesus hasn't looked to savior like this season. A lot of the local media around here has been questioning him all season. I think there is serious doubt about him in a HC role. One of the top franchises in the league, or one of the two jokes? Kansas City has one of the most storied franchises in the NFL. They were contenders a few years back when they had Vermeil running the show, I remember them having solid to strong teams in the 90's as well. You do know that the NFL has been around before 2005, right? KC imo is heading in the right direction. Now that King Carl's reign of terror has come to an end, I see good things. KC's strength on offense a few years back was when they could roll ou the best O Line in the league... They could be taking steps in the direction to rebuild that line if they could land Oher, and put him next to Albert... They've got one of the youngest teams in the league, and while there record doesn't reflect it, they are playing everyone tough this year. Cleveland, the other joke you mentioned won 10 games last season. Give Quinn some time. Braylon will fix his issues as well. I wouldn't call either of these teams jokes. He may give Cowher control as long as he keeps winning. Jerry didn't have free reign under Parcells.
