League 2 - TJ Housh is nowhere to be found. Not expecting him to have a huge day, but the weather doesn't look THAT bad... could he at least get his usual 5/50 or so? League 3 - Started Brees and Thomas for the Saints... 3 TD's (all runs) and none for either of them. Ouch. League 4 - Too close to call, but I'm playing Thigpen and going against Gonzalez, so it's a good matchup so far. I'm currently leading in all four leagues, but my opponents have WAY more players going late than I do. I need my late guys to come up big today, as they'll basically be outnumbered 2 to 1 ... AP, McNabb, Marshall, S. Smith, etc. Update... #1 - It's never a good thing when your opponent's kicker (Gostkowski) outscores your QB by a score of 17 to 0.9 points. Nevertheless, I'm leading 39-29 (and change) going into the late games... Big defensive TD late by the Titans D to give me a small cushion. However, I'm out-manned 6-3 in the late/night games. Peterson/Taylor and S. Smith are going to have to come up big. #2 - Leading 85-60 going into the late games, but I'm out-gunned big time this afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow. I've got McNabb, Peterson, and Marshall... My opponent has Forte, Lynch (praying he doesn't play), Jennings, A. Johnson, S. Smith, Carlson, and Feely. #3 - Leading 59-27 and I'm done for the week. Opponent has Grant, Lynch, S. Smith, and Carney. Another one that could hinge on Lynch. #4 - Leading 82-50, but I've only got Peterson and my two TE's left (Miller and Daniels). My opponent has McNabb, McFadden, Slaton, Branch, Akers, and NYG Defense. Basically, I need a big game from AP, as I have him going in 3 of the four leagues. I was going for and against both Thigpen AND Gonzalez in the early games, and now I've got the same dilemma with McNabb and S. Smith this afternoon. I'm also hoping Carlson is a non-factor in Seattle (slim chance), since I'm facing him multiple times today. Coming down to the wire, guys... Doing pretty good now w/ Bryant & Bruce getting TDs even though TBB defense stunk. I've already played MJD & Rhodes. But my opponent did in the other matchup as well. me too. i was choosing from among choice, foster, berrian and isaac bruce. went with foster and berrian and it has cost me a ton of points. i am to the point now where i'm assuming i'm going to lose and am actually hoping it's a big enough blowout that my stupid decisions wouldn't have mattered.
