Jackass
Had the lowest point totals of the season in both leagues. Wasn't playing for chump change either although the winning means a lot as well. I know there are more important things in life like having two working testicles, but damnit. Had some decent matchups, was winning going into the afternoon games and it all just came crashing down. Fooooock.
'canes2004
Had my worse showing as well just in time for my SB. Let's see: Mcnabb - 12.3 pts Lynch - 9.4 pts AD - 11.2 pts A. Johnson - 3.9 pts R. White - 5.4 pts Scheffler - 7.6 pts Slaton and Bryant kept me from being completely embarrassed. Great time for all these guys to take a day off. All at the same time. keggerz
ALL IDP Experts League I still have Urlacher and Tillman vs Payne for him but it looks like I wont be able to make up the 31 point lead he has...to make matters worse I am looking at posting my worst or most likely 2nd worst score of the year......I went back and check the weekly scores and I would have beat that team 12 times thru 15 weeks and in ATAP i missed the playoffs by 1.85 points and Mikells piss poor performance last week is easy to blame...making it worse is it looks like I would have won this week in a blow out Edited December 22, 2008 by keggerz

Henry Muto
Sooooooooooooooooo 27 leagues and not one Championship? Kind of weak. I am up 30-21 in my dynasty league I have Steve Smith and Peppers and Blackmon as my return man and my opp has Jacobs and Kampman This is AFC Championship game we play week 17 in this league if I win...still have a shot at 1 title When I say 27 leauges they all aren't cozy 12 man leagues, some of them I am competing against 100s of teams so they are not viewed the same as "winning a title" in any event life sucks

keggerz
Eagles moving the ball using the middle of the field. Drops hurting though. Desean dropped 2 hugh passes. This 4th down and 4 is the ballgame and you're getting crushed in a 3rd place game. i am used to being snake bitten in that league
xMRogers
If I had...umm... just getting my ass handed to me and while in theory I left 10 pts on the bench it looks like, just wasn't my week. Randall
Behind in 2 leagues. My matchups were good but teams have been throwing to weird players today. Mike Bell? Devard Darling? A Meacham rushing touchdown? I don't mind losing but when your team puts up 25% less than the last several weeks it's Edited December 22, 2008 by Randall

splotchman
Yep, I had Calvin and Lynch get hurt today and contribute to my lowest score in NINE weeks!! Nice to have an 9-game win streak snapped in the Superbowl. I'm like the Buffalo Bills in my local, as I've made it to the finals 3 of the past 4 years but my guys always fall asleep in the finals. isleseeya
got obliterated in one final ...if you are going to lose in title game , i guess its better to just get beat bad instead of losing by one pt other league , just disgusted by sitting cassel due to weather while starting coles and keller while ignoring the weather ...boldin out hurt and AJ shut down was the icing on the cake still won some money anyway but its all about winning titles and championships that really counts imho Edited December 22, 2008 by isleseeya
MTSuper7
My 53 point lead over my opponent is down to just 18 after the first half of tonight's CAR-NYG game. I felt good about my chances... Then I saw Stewart go down. He has DeAngelo, Steve Smith and John Kasay. I'm screwed.

Square
Had a poor showing in my main money local. Only 1 touchdown out of my RBs & WRs (Sjax, Slaton, T. Jones, S. Smith, & R. Moss). I sat Warner (which was smart) but then played Schaub (which wasn't smart). Basically my QB scored about 20 points less than my opponents and it was just too much to overcome with a bunch of touchdown-less running backs. 2nd place isn't bad, but I could have won with a little better matchups or weather. Fatman
In hindsight, benching DeAngelo for Steve Slaton probably wasn't a good strategy.

Henry Muto
In hindsight, benching Rivers for Shaun Hill looks pretty bad cost me a chance at a title next week In hindsight, benching McClain for Lewis looks pretty bad cost me $2,500 and a title In hindsight, benching S-Holmes for D-Branch looks pretty bad cost me $2,500 and a title In hindsight, benching Thigpen and Garcia for Favre looks pretty bad cost me $500 and a title If we break down each of my mistakes and look at why it happened maybe we can learn from the mistakes. Every time we try to learn something though something else will happen next year and you will be doomed to repeat your mistakes even though they feel like a different mistake. Don't bench your studs (Rivers led the leauge in TD passes) but earlier in the year I played Rivers over S-Hill when Rivers played against Pitt and Hill played StL and when I said "well you don't bench your studs" many on here said "Rivers is not a stud". So "stud" is in the eye of the beholder and in any event I don't think that rule applies anyway you just have to play the best player the hot player or the player that has something to play for I think in most cases. Nothing is absolute as you can see Rivers, McClain and Holmes had something to play for while Hill, Branch and Lewis did not as far as playoffs are concerned but the opposite was true if take Favre vs Thigpen. Favre "seemed" like a good match up and a lot of "experts" said Thigpen would not get it done this week and Garcia was coming off injury. S-Holmes has been very avg most of the year but I put my faith in a WR that had 1 good game this year. McClain was the clear play over J-Lewis and even though McClain got a lucky 82 yard TD run it still hurts the same. Time to go into a shell now and try and forget this season of a debacle. Maybe I will see you all again come next year.
ts
Led my local league in scoring on the season - by almost 100 points - but entered the playoffs as the #2 seed due to 3 unpleasant regular season losses where I happened to outscore every team in the league that week except of course, for the 1 team I played. Anyways, one-and-done in the playoffs, getting trounced in last week's game as C. Johnson, TO & Fitz were all pretty much no shows. Naturally, my "normal" starting lineup in that league goes off for 120+ points this week when I'm not even playing ... while the 2 teams battling for the fantasy bowl have put up 60 & 46 points (the latter has Rogers going tonite) respectively. Timing it seems, is everything in fantasy football. Just wait 'til next year! Edited December 22, 2008 by ts
