stabler12
Hi all, Does anyone know of any software that is available where someone can build a Fantasy Football League and host it on his own server? I need something that is customizable... well, actually we I can write our own code to customize it. Would hate to do everything from scratch...... and figure there must be somethign out there that would be a good head start Thanks, Tim
keggerz
you could just pay for MFL(myfantasyleague.com) they are very customizable and you they supply the servers ...you would be looking at around $75/year
smithkt
They also do provide the ability to embed a significant amount of their modules in your own page as well as providing a lot of data via XML. It's free to set up a league and test it out. You won't get live stats without paying though. Edited December 24, 2008 by smithkt
stabler12
Thanks for the info Keggerz and Smithkt.... I'll check that one out further for sure. The Yahoo Football Fantasy is the only one I've really used. Kinda like their layout. Like the interface, drag-n-drop, etc. The key for me is to be able to use 'other' players in addition to the NFL players listed. And also to change just a bit how it actually works. On some of these packages structure changes are quite difficult. The 'players' I want to add will go by just a little different set of rules. I don't mind paying what I need to if I can find one that is pretty professional but really customizable. Thanks again fellas... and Happy Holidays!!! smithkt
You can add up to 200 per league. These players are not automatically scored, as you might expect.
