Shotgun Messiahs
Steve Breaston finished with 1,006 yards making Arizona with x3 1,000 yard receivers. Adrian Peterson had a league leading 9 fumbles to go with his rushing title. Gonzo almost had a triple crown. Lee Evans finished with 3 tds. Aaron Rodgers threw 4038 passing yards, 28 tds and 13 ints in his first full season. Favre threw 22 tds and ints. Since 2003 Drew Brees has thrown more yards every year than the previous. Career high 5069 yards this season. Overall, this was not the year of the Tight End. Add to the list if you got'em.
Puddy
Well, I already started another thread since I didn't see this first, but... Green Bay’s Donald Driver and Greg Jennings each had 100 yards receiving Sunday. Combined with Grant and Wynn’s 100-yard rushing days, it is the first time in league history a team has had a pair of 100-yard rushers and 100-yard receivers in a single game, according to Elias
Sgt Ryan
Denver is the 1st team to lead its division every week, and lose it the last week, and not make the playoffs Dallas s 10-10 since going 12-1 last year, including the playoffs. Miami is the first team ever to go from 1 win to 11 wins in the next season.

Suture
During the Steelers/Browns game, the announcers brought up that the Browns hadn't scored an offensive TD in like 24 quarters. [Edit, oops, 24, not 28. Still terrible.] Edited December 29, 2008 by Suture

peepinmofo
Fixed And technically Tony Gonzalez broke a TD record in 2008 - most career TD catches for a TE. It should have said "single season TD records" And thanks or adding Moss to that.
