The resultant 21-yard gain kept him from finishing with the 1,250 yards that would have given him a Top-5 finish in the NFC. Ouch.... The call on the field was that he rolled off the guy and never touched the ground. Upon further review his butt touched the turf. In tampa, there was a huge issue last year cause Garcia had a number of snaps or playing time clause for a million (believe he's only getting a couple million, which is woefully short for a starting NFL QB who did make the pro bowl). He didn't get it the bonus, but only because they held him out of I believe 6 of the last 8 quarters - only needed to probably play one of those. To make it worse, they pretty much told him they'd make it up to him, so he didn't raise a stink at the time. Then they didn't do anything for him at all. Probably depends on the owner's pockets, the teams focus (Tampa is known as a player-unfriendly team at this point), and if they care if the player comes back. I'd think in this case they may give Grant something (although I gotta wonder if there was any escalator in their - I've read that we always read about these huge ones they just miss, but that almost always there's a few steps below that softens the blow). I saw the play live and the slo-mo replays - Grant's rear end definitely hit the ground and he was correctly called down at that spot.
