isleseeya
I know Atlanta has had a great season and cards did stumble slightly at end of season but I think cards win today and win by double digits Falcons are on road with a rookie qb ( a godd one but rookie none the less in his first playoff game ) and cards at home with boldin back coming off a good win vs seahawks ....I believe warner and gang will be able to move the ball very well and I think cards defense will at the least show up enough to limit falcons Cards 28 Falcons
tazinib1
Its gonna be the Michael Turner show. Warner will put up great numbers, but Atlanta's running game vs. Arizona's lack of, wins this one easily.

Dude, they got pounded by every non NFC west team they played down the stretch. And a "good win" v Seattle. How is any win vs Seattle a "good win"? Sure Seattle beat the Jets down the stretch, but who didn't? I think the money is on Atlanta because Atlanta has actually beaten a decent team this year. AZ beat one good team this year and that was Miami in week 2 before they started to gel.
Chavez
Why are the Falcons favored? Probably because they didn't get CRUSHED on 4 separate occasions by decent teams or go 1-5 vs playoff teams. Indoors, at home, if the Cards' passing game is clicking, they are dangerous and can beat anybody, but I think the Falcons are the better team. As evidenced by their 11 wins vs the Cards 9. untateve
why are the falcons favored today vs cards ? Because the falcons are considered a better team and more likely to win. I hope this helps.
Gopher
Not favored any more... Falcons went from -2.5 to +1.5 in a matter of about 48 hours. Lot of money on the Cardinals, probably due to the rookie QB thing (among other factors favoring the Cards), but I still like Atlanta. They won some tough road games rather easily, late in the season, while the Cards were pounded by Philly and Minnesota at home (and Atlanta HANDLED the Vikings on the road a couple of weeks ago). I'm not a big believer in taking the outcomes of other games and deciphering it to mean that the outcome of this one is easily predictable, but the trends involving these two teams don't look good for Arizona. They were one bad play call by Mike Martz away from losing the division to the 49ers (and not even making the post-season), and haven't won a meaningful game in over a month... longer than that if you don't count a two-point win over SF. I'll take my chances with the rookie QB and the team that actually has a running game.
budlitebrad
When it comes to the playoffs, I'll take the team with the running game. Arizona has none to speak of.
Brentastic
Falcons are a much better TEAM and play in the best division this year (NFC South). As others have said, the Cards can put up numbers on anyone but the smart money is on the Falcons.
isleseeya
Its the playoffs ...home teams normally do well in wild card round ...yes cards lost to vikes ( playoff team ) and pats (snowstorm on road without boldin ) but did they win their last game against seattle ( seattle sucks , ok but they still got back to winning ways which always helps at playoff time ) ...and I am not surprised the line changed favoring cards now as that makes more sense ( at least to me ) ...falcons are a better home team than road team and I think they are in for a very tough day today .... Like I said I think cards win by at least 10 - 14 pts ...we shall see By the way thanks unta as your answer not only cleared it up for me but made me moist

Randall
Matt Millen on the pre game show? What the #### were they thinking? Had to change channels. Deacon Jones on NFL N was pretty good. Even at 70 years old he's pretty scary.

isleseeya
Not betting giving 10 pts and that's not the line anyway rather just a belief of mine as to cards margin of victory Let the game begin ... loyalboyd
Cardinals will be in the Super Bowl. Figured say it now and only hope. But who knows. This is the NFL not the NBA. No one really knows its not rigged like the NBA.
