gilthorp
I'll be the first. I'll order them in what I feel will be the best viewing, from least to first. Panthers 34 Cardinals 24 This game will be well in hand and the Cardinals get some garbage time points to make it look closer than it is. Titans 20 Ravens 10 Titans will do what Miami could not, which is move the ball both on the ground and a bit in the air. A VERY physical game here. Eagles 30 Giants 27 Philly has something about them, call it a chip on their shoulder, but their defense is playing stout right now and the Giants will fall short here. Steelers 31 Chargers 20 I feel the Chargers will come back to earth against a defense that will score or create 14-17 points for the offense. If I go 0-4, I promise to erase this post as if it never happened.
Avernus
very sound picks here and even an upset (Eagles)... I went with all favorites this week and went 2-2 because I thought the matchups were THAT much in favor of one team..
Menudo
Since I was 0-4 last week, I apologize to the fans of the teams that I am picking to win this week. AFC Chargers 17 Steelers 14 Obviously, I hope I'm wrong, but, I'm just not confident in the Steeler's offense's ability to protect Ben and make plays. The Chargers seem to be peaking at the right time, and I look for them to pull the upset. Titans 13 Ravens 10 This should be an entertaining, physical football game. In the end, I think Tennessee's offensive line does a good job of protecting Collins and allowing the offense to do just enough to get by. NFC Eagles 27 Giants 24 The Eagles, like the Chargers, appear to be peaking at the right time, and I've become a believer. In a phenomenal game, McNabb comes through and the Eagles get the victory. Panthers 38 Cardinals 24 The Panthers will simply be too much for the Cardinals at home. I expect big days out of both DeAngelo and Stewart, as the Panthers ability to run the ball is too much for the Cards to overcome. CaP'N GRuNGe
I'm guessing Giants over Eagles and Panthers over Cardinals in the NFC and Titans over the Ravens and Steelers over the Chargers in the AFC. Titans over Steelers Giants over Panthers Giants repeat. If the Eagles beat the Giants (possible) and the Cards somehow pull off the upset against Carolina (not likely), that means an NFC Championship game here in Arizona.
