And while its a chicken recipe here's my family's favorite... Crockpot Bacon Wrapped Chicken 1 jar dried beef 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 4 slices bacon (I usually use more) 1 cup sour cream 1 can cream of mushroom soup Spray bottom of the Crockpot with Pam, and line the bottom with dried beef (have subbed in ham instead of beef) Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon. Caveman_Nick
You could make a nice stew. (potatoes, onions, carrots, meat, broth) Or a layered pasta (pasta, meat, sauce, cheese, repeat) Or a nice chili, maybe even a white chili. Yes, it's chicken, but it's tasty. Chicken broth, chicken, navy beans, cut corn, potatoes, onions, a little bit of clove and some ancho chili powder. Add a little cream of chickes/broccolli/muhroom soup (your choice) or just some cream. Serve with sour cream and tortilla chips. You could make a corned beef w/potatoes, carrots and onions. Put the ingredients in, cover with water (add a can of beer if you like) lentil soup is easy to make. goggle away for a million simple recipies. You could make asian pork. get some country style ribs and some ASHO sauce. Add in some julienne carrots and diced onions. Maybe a chili or two if you like the spice. Seriously...just go walk the market and you can find a ton of recipies if you just let your mind wander. Heck, you could use it to cook a chicken/corned beef/ roast beef, and then make a nice hash form it. Serve it with a couple of over easy eggs ofer each serving. Tons of hash recipies online. isleseeya
Nice family weekend on tap, anf the CP will be cooking up some three meat chili, and my elusive fav 3rd meat was availabel-holidays and stuff. My theroy on Chili is this-choose your bean (pinto or kindney or beanless) some diced tomato's, onion, green pepper, choose your powder( I like McCormick-Extra Hot) I always have meats 1(ground round 93 % lean) and 2 (ground pork)-the 3rd meat is usually ground turkey, since some meats are less common ground. However, got some fresh ground lamb for Sunday's batch, and have used ground venison, ground chicken, ground buffalo, and last but not least-ground ostrich , and they were all very good-my fav's are lamb and buff for the 3rd meat. Follow your basic chili receipe, as it can be done faster on the stove in a large pot or dutch oven. Will have fresh green pepper, onion and jalepnos, plus a few habeneros. Grated sharp and mild cheddars, oyster and saltine crackers-Cold Beer. Now some Football... I look for the Eagles to be playing for their play-off lives, and take the Boy's at home Monday night. Cowboys 20 Eagles 23 Bon Appetite and Good Luck on the Homer Front and FF wise-Peace PD. P.S. i spent the money
