Randall
I avoid these ads and the halftime show. It's just more hollywood taking over football in my opinion.
tazinib1
I'll be watching with more anticipation than usual this year. I wanna see the Dorito's ad that beat us out. For people in the advertising business as well as the production companies that make these commercials, this is the creme de la creme of the industry. I'm looking forward to both the game and the commercials. Yes it's ridiculous how much they spend per second on ads. And yes they go beyond just advertising. It's entertainment (usually). Thats horrible. And its even worse considering the voice is that of Kahn from King of the Hill who comes from Laos.
Randall
11 hours to go and NBC is pre-empting their regular shows to hype the super bowl. I don't mind the ads as much as the hype. Do they think the game isn't good enough for people to watch it? The hype and the dumb stories just to fill time between the commercials is what pisses me off. Be honest and have 11 hours of commercials leading up to the game. Let it happen on its own. This is the NFL people will watch.

H8tank
I thought, on a whole, the commercials were terrible. I fast-forwarded through most all the 2nd half, and the halftime show, that was really bad.
tazinib1
I have to say, it was pretty funny. I agree. I just wish we had the studio and money they had. I hope that these add campaign competitions are more closely monitored in regards to budget. Never-the-less: congrats to the production companies that made it. Thats an awesome achievement man. tazinib1
I think I chuckled at one or two commercials, but overall, I thought they were terrible. I have to agree. My post above was in reference to the Dorito specs in particular. I like the Monster.com specs..but beyond that, they seems bland to me.
