I've heard his color commentary and it's pretty good. But I guess in this "look at me" day, you gotta have someone "colorful" like that idiot Chris Berman making comments. Reeves calculates what he's going to say and puts real analysis into it. But yeah, guess some of us like the BOO-YA! Reeves is old-school and knows football better than just about anyone. No surprise that Mr. Plastic Face turned him off. Reeves is more of the Tom Landry school and Jerry Jones has been doing everything in his power to rid the team of that aura. Jones wants HIS legacy to be the lasting impression. Whether or not it's a bad or good impression, he seems to not care. Another fantastic snafu by America's Team®. Great post, exactly right I just think he's to old and comfortable to fire up & run a team......especially the knotheads in Dallas....he's not bad on the radio but ya he talks so f'n slow it drives me nuts You might be one of the reasons pre-game and halftime shows are so unbearable. From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram report, it sounds like Jerruh wanted a contractually outlined commitment of time in his role as "senior team advisor" that Reeves did not want written in the language of the deal. As much as I wish he would'nt sign guys like Pacman and do things like show up on the sidelines in the 4th quarter, the guy wants to win. He's not afraid to dip in his wallet trying to win. Replace JJ with Al Davis... and it's all still true! Both won three rings, and both steadfastly believe their brilliance was the reason, and both are going to go down with the ship to prove just how awesome they really are.
