myhousekey
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3933228 While I commend Goodell for taking the pay cut I'm not sure he's really going to be hurting going from 11M/year to about 9M/year. CaP'N GRuNGe
$11 million a year? I gotta put in a resume' next time that job opens. Why would you want to leave the Huddle and take a pay cut like that?
peteteacher2001
Shows how much more of a true commissioner he is as opposed to flippin Bud Selig. Seriously, when we think Goodell is maybe screwing some things up, look to baseball for the most incompetent, bumbling, bafoon in all of sports today for a reality check. Good job Mr. Goodell!!!!! Hey football has handguns and hookers while baseball has A-Roid!! I'll take a few Pac Man Jones' before having to sacrifice the integrity of the game with a scandal the likes of what baseball is dealing with now! .02 Been wanting to get that one out there for a while. Outshined
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3933228 While I commend Goodell for taking the pay cut I'm not sure he's really going to be hurting going from 11M/year to about 9M/year. I am not sure if that is the point. I think he might be sending a message to all the player and agents. Salaries for players have gone up double digit percentages every year. I think they might want or need to stop that. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lockout in 2011 is it after 2011?
MikesVikes
I'll get the message about escalating salaries when I don't have to pay $8 for a hotdog.
