I have Brees/Garrard starting. with Palmer gone my backups are Kevin Kolb and Alex Smith. But I only really need a backup QB for bye weeks, unless one of my QBs gets hurt. But my team is a very serious contender. My starting RBs would be SJ, Gore, Portis with Pierre as my main backup. I'm not too sure on this deal, need some help, thanks guys. You're giving up youth and a possible comeback player of the year candidate for an oft-injured/older RB that you don't need. Especially in a dynasty. No Deal!! Pretty well put. Portis is a beast and put up about 120 more points than McFadden did this past year. However, especially in a dynasty league, Portis will only be getting older and start slowing down. Whereas, McFadden is young and has his whole career ahead of him and getting Palmer who was on his way to being an elite fantasy QB before the injury is an absolute bonus. You're QBs will be way better off and in a couple years your RBs will be too and as it is now you still have the better end of the deal on your roster. I stand pat. Highball him with a 3.6 at first then drop down to a 2.3 if you really want him. Getting Willisor Suggs/Porter and L.Moore for McFadden (future uncertain)/Palmer and D.Bess would be a great trade for you.
