The Dallas Texans, with the state of Texas and a star for Dallas on the helmet. Disgraceful. Let's honor Dallas, who didn't want the team. Good God NFL and Clark Hunt. Way to disrespect the city of Kansas City, which has supported the Chiefs for the last 40 years, built them a stadium with taxpayer money, are currently remodeling the stadium with taxpayer money, and the citizens here have supported that team. Local radio is all over this right now with a petition for the Chiefs to stick this idea where the sun don't shine. I realize that the Chiefs' unis have stayed virtually the same, but why not pick some other logo - depicted here - and run with that as a style. It's about history. I guess I'm a little sensitive about honoring a city and state that rejected my team in a stadium my tax dollars built and maintained. The workers are going on strike on Tuesday at midnight if a deal is not struck. Which means the stadium will not get finished and the Chiefs will have to play all games on the road. Yeah, this was an interesting development today. And to edit, the potential strike is by the carpenters and sheet metal union with the regional buiilders group.
