Mr Hammock
I think this is a good move. Pace had some injury problems, but could be a steal if he comes in as a backup and stays healthy throughout the season. If your LT goes down and you have Pace on your team who has been resting on the bench all year long then I think you will be in Great playoff shape. I would pay a million or two to have that kind of insurance. Losing a LT can cost you an entire season.
piratesownninjas
Most people here are not going to discuss threads like this unless you include a link to the signing you're talking about. I don't care either way, I think Pace is average at this point in his career.
myhousekey
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-0...0,1624787.story This says Pace visited the Bears on Monday and that the Bears have made signing Pace a priority. Personally I agree with pirates, the guy doesn't have much left if you ask me.
gilthorp
Baby steps for Da Bears...losing Tait and St. Clair. Pace, even on his down side is a good signing.
dabuffbills
This is just the next step in Pace's goal to injure himself while playing for every NFL team
twiley
You can have Pace, that fat roly poly gets hurt when the wind changes direction. He's good for about 3 games.
