Randall
The NY Daily News confirms that the Jets are expected to pursue Jay Cutler. From Rotoworkd- Meanwhile, the Rock Hill Herald doesn't expect the Panthers to show interest, and Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Jaguars plan to be in the bidding. Profootballtalk has thrown out the Redskins as a sleeper. Who else would be interested? Houston has said no. Minnesota Tampa They could also say we tried trading you but couldn't. peepinmofo
Buffalo For Edwards and 1.11, and maybe a 2nd or 3rd. Thatd do it for me!
jetsfan
Jets +1, our offense would suddenly be decent
tazinib1
Jets +1 I still think the 3 way deal involving Cleveland and Quinn is the most feasible.
Brentastic
My wife told me the Bears got Cutler this morning - I immediately called April Fools but had hope that it was true. This is a no-brainer for any team needing a QB. I know my Bears won't get a deal done though

peepinmofo
Really? We have more problems than that. Absolutely. It is very rare a team has a chance to aquire a franchise QB. Cutler is exactly that. I like Edwards, but he is unproven. When was the last time we had a solid franchise QB? Jim Kelly. Nuff said.

I say give Edwards one more year before you start to call for his head.

Like I said, I like Edwards, but a chance to get a young (25) franchise QB rarely presents itself like this. Besides, could you imagine how many tickets that would sell if Cutler was throwing to Owens? That should keep the Bills in Buffalo!!

theprofessor
San Francisco 49ers Trade Cutler for the 1.10, Manny Lawson and one of the two 5th round picks (146 or 171) that SF has. Plenty of value for the Bronco's and they could use the #10 pick to draft Sanchez. Manny Lawson was drafted by Mike Nolan and now he's the DC in Denver. Moving to the 3-4 which is the right fit for Lawson, The 49ers then pick up a good FA Wide Receiver and they have the makings of a very good and balanced offense. Thoughts .............
