MonkeyOne
The Falcons traded reserve wide receiver Laurent Robinson to the St. Louis Rams on Monday. As part of the trade, the Falcons and the Rams swapped positions in the fifth and sixth rounds of the draft, Atlanta announced in a release. Story here. irish
Before Robinson got hurt last year, I actually thought that he had some solid upside and made for a great sleeper.
piratesownninjas
I liked Harry Douglas as a rook last year...
Savage Beatings
I assume he steps into the #2 WR role right away there, right, with Avery in the #1 role?
Randall
I liked Harry Douglas as a rook last year... I did too.
Randall
I'm guessing that too, but what's odd is that ATL didn't get much for him, so they clearly didn't think much of the kid Or they thought more of the other people they have and got what they could for him. It shows how hard it is to project college players' success in the NFL.
muck
IMO, very good trade for STL.
Riffraff
I'm guessing that too, but what's odd is that ATL didn't get much for him, so they clearly didn't think much of the kid Window of opportunity can be small in the NFL and Robinson only shined for the Injury Report. Once they re-signed Jenkins to a long term deal, the writing was on the wall.
Ziachild007
I assume he steps into the #2 WR role right away there, right, with Avery in the #1 role? I would think he would still have to beat out Keenan Burton.
STL Fan
I would think he would still have to beat out Keenan Burton. And maybe even Derek "flat" Stanley.
WaterMan
IMO, very good trade for STL. It depends on what Atlanta gets in the draft with those picks. Edited April 7, 2009 by WaterMan
MikesVikes
I assume he steps into the #2 WR role right away there, right, with Avery in the #1 role? That would be quite a drop from the Bruce/Holt days.

He must've been my final pick in more than one league last year.
