irish
http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/tank...e4-37d3865250b1 Tank rolls in Posted Apr 7, 2009 Updated: 7:15 p.m. Tackle Tank Johnson's agent said Tuesday he has reached a deal with the Bengals that gives them more depth along the defensive line and very well may take them out of the derby for a defensive tackle at No. 6. After playing backup nose tackle for the Cowboys the past two seasons, Johnson and the Bengals feel like he's a better fit in defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's 4-3 scheme, particulalry as a pass rusher. Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis also likes the idea of Johnson's ability to penetrate for a defense that finished last season second-to-last in the NFL in sacks per pass This probably belongs in the IDP Forum but I'm sure Keggerz or Darin will post it there eventually. detlef
Nice. Hey, the Bengals may not be very good, but at least they're loading up on players that aren't easy to like.
Savage Beatings
I always thought he got kind of a bum rap. I would have liked to have seen the Vikings sign him for a year (especially with the Williams Wall still looking at a possible suspension this season). detlef
Vick has to be next I kind of thought Pac Man would be a better fit. They could use the help at DB.

bpwallace49
Maybe they are using the threat of "let us win or we will rob, rape and beat you silly" offense . . .

Well, honestly, it would be one thing if they were putting together a winning product and saying screw it in terms of whether or not the guys are quality people, but they're just reliving exactly the same thing that's happened nearly every time someone held their nose and plumbed the depths of bad character players, a team that just doesn't win. MikesVikes
I kind of thought Pac Man would be a better fit. They could use the help at DB. Why can't they have both? That would make the most sense.

Bronco Billy
I always thought he got kind of a bum rap. On which account? Carrying a concealed weapon? Threatening a police officer? Resisting arrest? Having loaded weapons within reach of children? Having unregistered firearms? Drinking & driving? There's so many to choose from...
