Brentastic
I've been hyping this guy for a few years because of his spot-on analysis. A little buzzed and just wanted to talk some football - especially this hardly-talked-about analyst. The guy just makes sense, is passionate about the game and understands what it takes to make a great NFL player. I love me some Mayock!! DMD
He is one of the better guys out there for sure. He was the one that just nailed the NFL draft last year I believe.
Randall
They won't talk about him on the Mel Kiper Network(ESPN). . He nailed one a couple of years ago too(Donte Whitner to the Bills) and predicted Cutler and Brandon Marshall as 2 of the best in that draft. This week he said in 2-3 years Ayers will be the top defensive player in this draft. Gotta love a guy who sticks his neck out like that. Suture
He's my favorite as well, totally knows the game.
Avernus
I remember when he mentioned Brandom Marshall in his top 5 WR's before Kiper jr. had him in his top 15..... eventually Kiper put him in his top 10 about two weeks from the draft... I've been telling people about Mayock for the past 3 years or so.....he's just logical with what he says instead of getting several people to do the work for him, it seems he does all this sh!t himself the way he talks about it... Randall
He loves the game and the draft. He's been driving to various pro days lately. He went to one down the east coast and then drove to Rutlers for their workout the next day. Every pro day I see he's standing there. Right now he has moved S Carolina ILB Jasper Brinlkley into his top 3. He's very wary of Michael Johnson too and both moves have to be taken seriously. I think he accurately predicted the first 10 picks without a miss. The guy just gets it.
Brentastic
If I were an NFL owner who had a bad track record in the draft :cough, cough - the Bears: - I would hire him as my GM. I'm convinced Mayock understands which players translate to the NFL better than ANYONE on planet earth.
Square
They won't talk about him on the Mel Kiper Network(ESPN). . I guess it's good to hear I'm not the only one that thinks this. Maybe it's common but for awhile there I thought it was just me. Kiper gets on my nerves anymore. I get that he does his homework and knows a lot, but sometimes he just sounds like 10 pounds of chit in a 5 pound bag. I've heard the Mayock name but the face is escaping me right now (captain morgan isn't known for helping with such matters). I'll have to find some articles and read up. Wolverines Fan
Mayock is defintely one of the best draft analyists out there, which is why I'll be watching NFLN's draft coverage.
electricrelish
Every time I hear something from him, it's a quote from a writer who uses him as a reference. He updates his top 20 prospects and rankings on nfl.com. Does he write a column? Or can you just find him on the NFL network, which I don't have.
