Scourge
Harry Kalas was an amazing broadcaster. I'm glad the Phillies won it last year so Harry got to make the call one last time. He was well loved here and I am extremely saddened. My earliest memories of the Phillies were when I was 7 or 8, sitting with my neighbor out in his back yard as he explained baseball to me as Harry was making the calls. What a voice and what a sweet man. RIP Harry.
keggerz
to most outside of Philly Harry was a great voice for NFL films but for those of us in the philly area he was the voice of the phils sad day for sure...how great it would have been to have had both richie and harry calling the world series last year

I'm glad Harry made to the beginning of baseball season at least.

Skippy
to most outside of Philly Harry was a great voice for NFL films but for those of us in the philly area he was the voice of the phils sad day for sure...how great it would have been to have had both richie and harry calling the world series last year I knew that the NFL gig was just a side line for him but did not know that he did the Phils. He had a legendary voice that will be missed on NFL films.
BeeR
There was him and John Facenda, then the rest (way way back). I loved the way he went "...struck him ouuuuut" Remember my dad listening to him too (good memory even if listening to baseball bored me to tears). HowboutthemCowboys
My Dad always joked that he wanted to hire him when my Dad retired to say on the loudspeaker at work: "HBTC's Dad is OUTTA HERE!!" RIP
