Mr Hammock
This is my second mock draft of the year. Piranha
Not bad... Although....Buffalo homer, I can't see them going with two OT and a TE in the 1st 2 rounds. I see them going 11 - DE, 28 - OT, 42 - TE. I'd be surprised to see them going any other way. I don't see them trading away Peters and then scrambling for an early OT. And they're also saying they need to throw a DB in the early mix as well.
Footballjoe
I would be shocked if the Redskins picked a WR. I say they will move up for Sanchez or go with a LB / LT / DE. Whomever they have rated higher that is still on the board.
Chief Dick
IF the Chiefs don't trade down, I would be shocked if they picked Curry here. They will go O-line. Pioli will want to protect Cassell. Mark my words.
piratesownninjas
As a packer homer, I like both of the players you have slotted for them, but I highly doubt they go Orakpo in the first then English in the second. Ted Thompson and Dom Capers are sold on Kampman as one of the OLB, with Barnett and Hawk plugging up the middle. That leaves one glaring hole, which is OLB. I think they could grab one of those, but not both... Just interested in why you gave them two OLB's.
i_am_the_swammi
If the Eagles can walk away April 25th with Moreno & Cook from the draft, and Peters (via trade) & Andrews (FA), this offseason will have been a huge success.

Whomever they have rated higher that is still on the board. They could move up, but with what? What do they have to leverage besides next years first? They need to give Jason his last year and see what happens. That's what is wrong with the Redskins. They always want to grab big names and then never give them a fair shot at living up to their potential. Give Jason a serious deep threat and bring in a third round OT. I think they will stay at 13. I would be completely Shocked if Dan lets Percy get past him. The Redskins have been looking for this kind of game changing receiver for a long, long time. They can get a good OT at 80: Troy Kropog Tulane Gerald Cadogan Penn St Fenuki Tupou Oregon But if Dan wants to continue being in Al’s league then I’m game for watching his clown act. Can’t have too many Al’s and Dan’s in the league.

They have the same type of player in Santana Moss? After drafting a couple receivers last year the Redskins will not draft Percy here. You assume he'll go in the first round but failing a drug test at the combine is as bad as it gets. Many teams pulled him off the board right then and there. Explain how failing a test there isn't incredibly stupid. He knows when it is. He knows he'll be tested.
Swiss Cheezhead
Picks 12, 13, and 14 are pretty bad. No way the 'Skins draft Harvin there. Also, Robert Ayers and Tyson Jackson are way too low.

Agree we desperately need a TE but with the addition of TO we have some great talent at WR so it's not like Trent doesn't have weapons. OL and DE are just too pressing to not address in rounds 1 and 2. There's too many holes and not enough fingers. Zooty
This is my second mock draft of the year. Well actually, I have done many, but this is the second one that I have felt really good about. 2009 NFL DRAFT - ROUND 1 PK Team Pos Player School 21 Eagles RB Knowshon Moreno Georgia 2009 NFL DRAFT - ROUND 2 PK Team Pos Player School 53 Eagles TE Jared Cook South Carolina Not just you but everyone, please stop! They are not taking a RB in the 1st and Moreno and Wells will be gone by 21 IMO. Any RB they take will more than likely be in the 3rd or later, maybe 2nd if there is a run before they select. Its just not gonna happen, no matter how much then fans, Pat Kerwin and other pundits keep calling it. Eagles will not take a RB in the 1st. I do love the Cook pick in the 2nd and think that very well could happen. From a friend of a friend, they love Cook

Of course it MEANS something to me. I would not take him. My point is that someone will. I would love to debate this with you and you may even turn out to be right (That's what makes this fun), but please READ what I am writing. No doubt; Percy is very stupid. We know Wells will be gone to either the Texans or Saints. I don't see the Texans or the Saints taking Moreno because he is not the big complimentary back they are looking for. Who else could be in the market for Moreno before 21?
MonkeyOne
I'm interested to hear your thinking behind Freeman to the Bucs given the Leftwich signing, do you think they sit and teach him for a few years behind McCown/Leftwich and cut Griese and Josh Johnson? I expect Griese to go whatever happens, but don't see them taking a QB with Leftwich now there. (It'll happen now I've posted this). I don't see the Texans or the Saints taking Moreno because he is not the big complimentary back they are looking for. Who else could be in the market for Moreno before 21? I think people are discounting the teams who "don't do what they should" Cincy could take Wells, Hou may not view Slaton as a every down back and take Moreno or Wells changing the draft. Green Bay lately has taken guys that make us and I'm not sure that they are enamored with their RB situation Seattle could move down and go RB I don't think Del Rio view MJD as an every down guy either and they could draft another back And if Moreno is that good, someone could move up to get him. More so is that Philly doesn't draft perceived need but BPA and traditionally 300 lb plus guys with their 1st pick. I would not be shocked if they move down or even up to grab a lineman (probably Def after the Peters trade). I really just don't see them taking a skill position player at 21 to sit behind Westbrook
