The Cowboys get TO the Championship Game this year.

They lead the league in Passing and Rushing Yards.

They lead the league in Sacks and least Defensive Yardage given up

Romo throws for 27-30 TD Passes

Felix Jones Rocks the NFL world

Choice and Barber work cleanup but will be good #2 Fantasy backs for TD"s.

Phillips D gets it going and becomes Devistating on Sundays.

Cowboys record is 12-4 with a solid stretch run in th last four and Beat Philly to death the last game in Texas Stadium

Oh Yeah and Miles Austin becomes a very big weapon. Crayton gets religated.

The Boys are back, without the Drama. Be WARE that's all I want from these young guys off the edges.

Being a Boys fan as you know, I think these expectations are a wee-bit boilerplate. However, I can only hope that our squad can attain such lofty expectations. Roy Williams would have to be more than I currently think he is and be a STUD. Roy has only exceeded 1,000 yards in one season and has never exceeded 900 yards any other year of his career, albeit he was playing for the Lions. He had 24 receptions of 20+ yards the year he went for 1,310 yards, which accounts for more than 1/3 of all the 20+ yard catches he's made in his career and he's never had more than 15 any other year. He has never had double digit TDs in his career either. So either Roy is going to have to step up big time or Miles Austin/Crayton are going to have to be better than expected for Romo to have success and for the running game to be effective. Even if it all comes together, Romo is capable of blowing it. There's no doubt that the Cowboys have alot of talent on paper but that doesn't get you anywhere as seen by the results of the past couple seasons. Both the Eagles and Giants have upgraded their teams this offseason and for the most part, we're going into things as we were last year, hoping the subtraction of Owens means more team chemistry and success. I'm not sure it will and I have to be honest, for the first time in a few years I'm less confident about the Cowboys chances this year than in the recent past and I happen to be an overly optimistic person.

It's Rally time Irish, oh yee of little faith. This is the time, and this is the year. New stadium, New Attitude, this will be the year my friend this will be the year. Roy Williams is so unpredictable to me also, I just can't figure him but no worries we have SO many weapons to choose from and I think that was our problem last year with TO. He demanded his share where as now Romo can just pick who's open and get them the ball and win. I got a really good feeling about this year. Phillips is effectively DQ and Garret OQ and they will work together nicely on gameday. Remember the Titans, you just worry about your Offense says P, and you just worry about your defense says G. It's gonna work this year trust me. The Media Circus has moved on and I think that will make a HUGE difference. I am so pumped. The Draft fires the canon for me each year to get rallled up and ready to rumble. Next up Rookie Mini camp, then OTA, then Training Camp and ...........and.........and then...........OH OH OH OG..........

I need a cigarette.................. :D

All I kept reading last year were Cowboys fans laying claim to the Superbowl Championship before the season ever started. Happens year after year...

Shouldn't you know by now that the Cowboys take the playoff's off? I mean it's been what 13 years since they won a playoff game?? The way I see it, luck is NOT on your side..

Below would be best case, this would make them 10-6 and a wildcard. Keep in mind this would be the first time they have had a winning record after Dec. 1 since 1996, so I think the San Diego and @ Washington wins in December are being really generous. This team still has Phillips, lost TO, had a crap draft and Romo collapses at the end of every season. While I can see them possibly beating the Giants one game, Philly one game, maybe Seattle and maybe Carolina, I can also see them being upset by KC, Atlanta, Washington and/or Green Bay. To expect them to put together any kind of winning streak or consistent dominant play would ignore over a decade's worth of history and especially the Phillips/Romo era.

Also given Romo's consistently poor performances in big games, I think they are especially vulnerable at home in the new stadium due to the pressure not to blow it. So 9-7 or 8-8 would be no surprise at all.

As long as Wade Phillips is the head coach the best the Cowboys will do is a wildcard. That is being pie in the sky optimistic. Most likely 8-8 or 7-9 on the outside looking in. They may have talent but Phillips is a terrible coach.

Really. Wade led this team to 13-3, and the #1 seed in the NFC year before last. So as long as Wade Philllips is the head coach, the best the cowboys will do is a wildcard is already dead ass wrong

LMAO, you have them losing twice to the Gnats, and they have won 3 of the last 4 against them. Yea, that makes sense. Losing to Philly twice too, Geez now this just is a shock value post.

And finally losing to Seattle. Are you serious, Seattle?

Dallas splits the division games, loses 2 more at most, and goes 11-5 tied with Philly for the division lead.

Wade did this with Parcels' team. It's only down hill from here.

Just wondering if you think the Giants and Eagles have bettered themselves this off season? What about the cowboys?

The eternal optimism of boys fans  I love my Boys and hope they bounce back but I have no faith in wade and while the distraction of T.O is gone so is the weapon. Roy has big shoes to fill (on the field) We shall see. If Romo protects the ball and makes better decisions this team can prosper. They got rid of pacman and T.O so baggage wise they improved.

Somebody please bring this post back for Christmas.

:D:D You boys fans are the best at these early predictions.. :D

I feel I am very fair-minded about my Boys chances and I certainly see fault with this group. You still can't fault true Homer fans for being overly excited about their teams' chances before the season gets going. Unrealistic or not.
