ROYALWITCHEESE
I can't imagine being a right handed RB and trying to play with that injury. Maroney's shoulder injury was broken bone
DMD
He's been a constant injury problem on a team that is willing to make a mockery of the injury report. He had promise at one time but is really untouchable as far as I am concerned.

When he's healthy, he's been quite beastly. I think this is the year he gets his first 1000 season. But I also think it will be a limited role. The Pats know he has great ability, but they also know they can't give him 20+ carries consistently and him hold up. 2007 was a glimpse of his ability. I expect he will be the starter this year, losing some work to Taylor, Morris, and Faulk. But facts are they are all 33+ years old and won't be around much longer. I see him getting about 15 carries per this year with about 25 receptions, making him an RB2. I also agree with DMD, that he is untouchable until the late rounds unless you're a gamblin' man. As for the inujry report, as a Brady owner for the past 3 years in a dynasty, I've pretty much learn this: Probable = certain to play, just some soreness/contusion Questionable = probable, a legit injury--but not serious enough for true consideration to sit Doubtful = out, there is no middle ground with reports from this team Out = they never even entertained the notion, and they will tease people with his status--even though they know he won't play again this year
forever in debt to mo lewis
yeah i mean...i can see him cracking the 1000 yard mark this year...maybe even barely....but if he adds 10 touchdowns to that(maybe a couple more) hell have great value as a #3 or a flex guy....especially given how low everyone is on him
DMD
The only plus side to Maroney is that you can get him so cheaply that it costs you almost nothing to see what he can do. The problem though will always be thinking that you can rely on him. In no case could you.
