KillerFalcons
Nick Collins is a starter now. Do u think his job is in jeopardy with Aaron Rouse.? Also wat do u think about Bigby? I heard Rouse might not make the team, but I'm not sure. Edited June 5, 2009 by KillerFalcons

I heard Rouse might not make the team, but I'm not sure. Wasn't Collins already a starter? If I was Collins, I wouldn't be worried about Rouse, seeing that Rouse is the primary SS backup - to Bigby. There's no one currently on the Packer roster that Collins should be afraid of. Despite the job security, he's not an elite fantasy DB. Figure on numbers similar to last season's, which make him a decent DB2 in most formats. Edited June 5, 2009 by darin3
bpwallace49
The way that Green Bay is intending to use Bigby make him an attractive IDP option. He will be used as a in-the-box blitzer close to the line and should put up some nice tackle numbers this year. It is also a better way to utilize him considering his limited coverage skills without committing pass interference. Collins is pissed about his contract, and might lose time to Smith, a safety GB signed that is well versed in Pittsburgh's 3-4 defense. Rouse might not make the team this year is the rumor . . piratesownninjas
Bigby if healthy is safe from anyone taking any snaps from him. The guy has all the talent to do what they need, and he showed it over the last six weeks of the 07 season. Collins put up some nice numbers last year but tailed off near the end of the season. If he demands big money, which I'm not sure he is worth then Smith will probably be seeing some time this year. As far as IDP implications, look no further than Darin. He seems to have this whole IDP thing down pretty good.
