detlef Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Big Brother doesn't sell any brands of Pisco in the great state of NC, so if I'm interested in offering pisco sours, I'll need to special order it and bring it in by the case. Any of you living outside the bible belt where liquor runs free have a favorite brand you can suggest? Considering that it is to be mixed, I don't want ultra premium. Just solid. I have seen that drink in my book. I think you use egg whites if I am not mistaken. It looks pretty good. I'll ask him tonight if he can provide what you need. Well, maybe you could just ask what his favorite brand is for sours. And, yes, it's made with egg whites. Pretty much pisco, lime juice, simple syrup, and egg whites shaken vigorously. I was down in Chile a year ago and decided on Friday night that we would bar hop and sample these fabulous drinks at each spot.....
