Henry Muto
For the MFL waiver system I am trying to set it up so each week until Friday 10 PM you would sumbit a waiver list and it goes from worst to first and then after 10 PM on Friday until 1 AM on Sunday it would be First come First serve. I think I have it set up right but I want someone here to confirm it. It is set up like this right now Waiver Request - Kickoff of Week 1 (Thu Sep 10 8:30:00 p.m. ET 2009) (Happens 15 more weeks.) First Come, First Served Waivers - Fri Sep 18 10:00:00 p.m. ET 2009 until Sun Sep 20 1:00:00 a.m. ET 2009 (Happens 15 more weeks.) Is this right ? I think I am missing something here. Also will this system just redo itself each Josh Gordon advancing the dates or do I need to reset it each week ? Also when there are Thursday games I have to reset the dates ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
BillyBalata
Below is a system setup from last year in one league. It was designed that at noon Tuesdays....owners could start to submit their waiver requests. Those requests were then processed at 5 pm on thursdays. After they were processed, FCFS would then be in affect at 5 pm and be open til shutdown at kickoff of first game. Think this might help Waiver Request Tue Sep 16 12:00:00 p.m. CT 2008 until Thu Sep 18 5:00:00 p.m. CT 2008 (Happens 11 more weeks.) Edit DeleteFirst Come, First Served Waivers Thu Sep 18 5:00:00 p.m. CT 2008 until Kickoff of Week 3 (Sun Sep 21 12:00:00 p.m. CT 2008) (Happens 11 more weeks.) MikesVikes
I don't understand what you want to happen for weeks with early games. Do you not want any first come first serve at all? Do you still want waivers to process on Friday night even if there were already games played on Thursday? When do your playoffs begin? Do you want the same waivers during the playoffs? Do you want waivers to run worst to first each night until Friday or just on Friday night? Edited June 18, 2009 by MikesVikes

I'd strongly suggest that you rethink what you are trying to accomplish.
Henry Muto
For Thursday games we were running waivers for only those 2 teams up until 8 PM on Thursday and then the rest of the teams up until Friday 10 PM. So we were doing double submissions....the 2 Thursday teams and then the rest of the leagues teams. Saturdays were FCFS every week including playoffs. Henry Muto
kind of confusing right now but I found another waiver system page I didn't know about. I think maybe I need to set it up from week 2 to when the Thursday games hit then make another set up for the Thursday weeks ? I think. I think you're going to have to un waivers at the site manually to do what you stated above and state explicitly to teams what the waiver restrictions are for Thursday game weeks, and then run 2 waiver periods. Are you sure you've done this before?
Henry Muto
I have done this before running my own league without a site service where I took emails from people and ran everything on spreadsheets for the last 19 years...1st year going online. Does this look like I might be on the right track ? Tue Sep 15 12:00:00 p.m. ET 2009 16 more weeks.
