Randall
Aaron Kampman issued a statement Wednesday following the murder of his high school coach Ed Thomas. The gunman was identified as 24-year-old Mark Becker, a former player of Thomas. Thomas, the 2005 NFL High School Football Coach of the Year, made national headlines last year for insisting the school rebuild the football field after a devastating tornado destroyed the high school. "Coach Thomas was very special to me and many other young men from the Aplington-Parkersburg communities," Kampman said. Jaguars C Brad Meester, Lions DE Jared DeVries, and Broncos C Casey Wiegmann all played for Thomas. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/articl...4046/1954/PKR03

Pope Flick
tragic. doesn't seem like there's a motive yet? Someone's boy didn't make the team. At least that's my guess.
MikesVikes
Very tragic. The coach was watching kids lifting weights at the time.
Chavez
Someone's boy didn't make the team. At least that's my guess. 24-yr old former player? I don't think that's it.
Jrick35
tragic. doesn't seem like there's a motive yet? Yeah no clear motive but I did find this on FoxNews.com The man who allegedly gunned down a popular Iowa football coach, was to have gone to a hospital psychiatric ward after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase Saturday - several days before the shooting. But instead of being taken to the hospital psychiatric ward, he was released.
