Christmas in July

Came inside after a couple steaks on the deck, wife took the kids for a walk, and I flick on the NFL Network to see what's on:

NFL Game of the Week....Eagles-Cowboys.....I was thinking it would be the Monday Night battle from last year, which the Cowboys won on a late fumble. I would have been happy watching it, because it was such a good game.

Instead, it was the Week 17 Christmas week tilt for the right to go to the playoffs.....Eagles 44, Dallas 6. :D

God Bless the NFL Network

I was thinking the same thing, but I only watched about 30 minutes of the game. I am not an Eagles' fan, but I knew that all the Philly guys would be smiling. I liked it when Troy started talking about putting Westbrook and McNabb on the bench because they were wearing out the Cowboys.

Actually, Comcast is adding the NFL network to it's regular channel line-up. Last year you had to pay $5.00. which still wasn't bad, but this year it's part of your regular programming. It's not available yet, but I believe it picks up in August. Just an FYI thing, but it's probably still not available for most cable subscribers.

Hopefully it appears on Cablevision shortly...
