tazinib1
Ex-Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said Friday that he plans to coach again in the NFL, possibly as soon as 2010."I plan on getting back," said Shanahan. "I'll see if there are any opportunities out there at the end of the year that will work out for the club and myself." The Redskins and Cowboys among others are expected to show serious interest should Shanny make himself available next offseason. kpholmes
Shanny doesn't like RBBC, he just didn't have that stud runner here and had to make do. This is a bogus statement. Shanny had Portis and Droughns during their primes and traded them away because he believed so heavily in his RBBC, and felt that his system was strong enough to replace them as individual players. In this case, Barber could be the one to go and Jones and Choice begin to see a lot more work. As I own the latter two in a dynasty I say

satelliteoflovegm
I wouldn't rule out Buffalo either, Jauron may be on the hottest seat of all.

Not so sure. He did get Champ Bailey for Portis. Hire him as a coach, not as GM.

Bronco Billy
Ugh....Portis,Barber,F.Jones,Choice owners hold your breath. Shanahan is a bonafide offensive Xs and Os genius, and he absolutely maximizes RB potential. Geez, I wanted to see him canned 6 years ago, but it was because Shanahan the GM makes some incredibly dubious personnel decisions, and he doesn't understand D fundamentals much (something I never could figure out - if you are a legit O genius, how can you not be capable of figuring out what parts of D personnel/D scheming give you the most problems?). You've got to give the guy his due at what he excels at...
