3xcrazy
I'm sitting here recovering from ACL surgery that I had 3 weeks ago. So lets say I am bored. Does anyone have a clue on RB situation in NY? Jones ,Washington,, Greene? Drafting RB's use to be easy but now with all the RBBC its a gamble. The Wolf
First off, hope you have a speedy recovery. Second off, this goes in the advice forum. Thirdly, and to answer your question, I really believe that the Jets backfield this season will greatly resemble the Ravens backfield of 2008. If I were to draft one of the three, it would be Leon Washington and it would be a late pick at that. reason being that he is the most explosive playmaker of the three (heck...on the TEAM) and guys like that force the coaching staff to put the ball in their hands. 3xcrazy
Dont have the machine but do work on ROM. It's getting better every day. It's more annoying than painful.
T_bone65
Do you have a range of motion machine to work your knee for eight full hours a day? If not, immediately call your doctor's office to see if you can get one cuz that really helped me recover. Listen to your physical therapist. Remember this one very important fact: right now, you need to safely work on range of motion. Do NOT work on building muscle unless specifically and clearly told to by your Dr or PT. Very good advice here, I had a knee replacement 2 years ago and had a CPM machine that I had to use for 6 hours a day. I had to get to 110% before I could stop using it. T_bone65
huh, my machine didn't even go over 100° range. But I also didn't have as drastic a reconstruction as you did. I was actually at 120% when I quit PT, just glad I didn't have to stay in that CPM any longer then I had to

I had a ACL Tear and reconstruction when I was 22 years old playing Ice Hockey for Univ of Mich. The best advice I can give you is dont get lazy. Get active as much as possible when possible. The CPM machine (Continuous Passive Motion) like listed above is wonderful and helped me recover quickly. Here is a link to a video for it, http://www.medcomgroup.com/cpm_knee_welcom...CFRJM5QodzWdpYg Edited August 4, 2009 by RJV
Chief Dick
I had this surgery about 15 years ago, and about a year ago torn the same ACL. So I'm looking at another one. Not sure what I'm going to do. Good luck on your recovery.
