peepinmofo
There goes Bradleys value... what minimal amount it may have been, or what potential it might have been.
Bronco Billy
Toomer always seemed to be undervalued in FF leagues. I loved being able to pick him up as a WR3 and let him run up some points. But that was back in the late 90s/early 00s. That said, I can't believe that he still has much left in the tank at 35 yrs old, and he hasn't shown much at all in the past 4 yrs for a NY team that badly needed WRs besides Burress. This makes me wonder how bad the KC passing game is going to be that they would consider Toomer to be worthy of signing... matt770
He's younger than Bobby Engram?
Bronco Billy
He's younger than Bobby Engram? Hell, if they sign Harrison too, they could go to the all-Methusalah spread O.

Toomer has not been able to get open much in recent years. He still showed occasional big play ability, but it was getting to be too few and far between. The Giants didn't even see fit to keep him around for veteran leadership -- maybe because whining to the media about the team purposely minimizing his role during the playoffs is not considered good veteran leadership? Sure Amani, we could have used a good receiver down the stretch, and Eli could see you were open, but we told him not to throw you the ball because we don't like you. Enjoy your 5-11 season in KC. Chief Dick
I see this as a good signing for KC. That team just needs some veteran presence. And they need someone to show Bowe how to be a pro.
bpwallace49
Toomer will be a semi-reliable possession receiver that will start once Mark Bradley sprains his vulva in week 3.
muck
Bowe being "mentored" by Engram and Toomer could be really good. Maybe those two guys will help Bradley learn how to not get hurt all the time, too. If so, that'd be great.
Seahawks21
Does anybody see Toomer being any more than a typical #4 WR for them? At first I thought this would take away from Bradley and Engram, but I'm wondering if Toomer is really going to catch enough balls to really impact them by more than a handful of catches. I don't see any kind of fantasy impact here. Toomer was brought in to flash that Super Bowl ring around. And to give Bowe some mentoring as muck said. Your fantasy receivers on this team will be Bowe and Engram. Toomer coming in may actually increase Engram's value. In a 3 WR set it should be Bowe and Toomer on the outside, with Engram in the slot. To me, this move signifies NO impact for Bradley, if he even makes the team.
