Outshined Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Berrian starts jogging August 21st, 2009 – 2:28 PM by Judd Zulgad A week after Bernard Berrian suffered a hamstring injury in the Vikings’ preseason victory over Indianapolis, the wide receiver expressed optimism about his recovery. Berrian tweeted that he jogged for the first time today. “Hopefully, [i will] be back to 100 percent soon,” Berrian tweeted. Obviously, Berrian isn’t going to play tonight against Kansas City. It will be interesting to see when he returns to the field. The Vikings are likely to play their starters, including Brett Favre, for an extensive period on Aug. 31 when they face Houston in their third preseason game. Berrian also tweeted about Favre’s debut as a member of the Vikings tonight. “Wonderin what Bretts 1st preseason game is gonna reveal,” Berrian said. “Expect to see some rust, a lil fatigue. Dependin on how long he plays.” Later Berrian tweeted: “Trust me not makin excuse for anyone, but let’s keep it real.
