nhoops
you guys really kill me sometime. ok let's take it from the beginning. Bush and Bell do not take touches away from Pierre. Bush is the #1 RB although he is usually used more as a receiver than a RB. Pierre wil get most of the rushes, unless of course he is injured. Bell will get touches when A) Pierrre and Bush needs a breather Pierre or Bush gets injured C) it's a blowout.Thomas's impact will depend on his injury which suprisenly doesn't cause to much concern here. As a homer I am very worried about the injury. there is no talk about it everything is mum. they said it wasn't serious a mild sprain yet since then nothing. He hasn't practiced in 2 weeks and the silent word is he may not be ready for week 1 which is why Payton wants to get Bush some work but can't afford the risk of doing it. The injury really worries me. I'm on vacation and really wish I had the time to catch up on all the injuries. I had my draft on Thursday. I grabbed him in the 3rd (3:8) as my #2 behind Chris Johnson. Grabbed him ahead of Grant and Brown. I already took A.Johnson in the 2nd and the rest of the top WR and top 3 QB's were taken. Actually, the more I think about it the better I feel despite the injury. And I have decent backups (Addai, Parker, McCoy). Ok, glad I talked this one through.... BearBroncos
For those planning on starting Thomas on Sun, I'd reconsider. Pierre Thomas: Pierre Thomas has new injury
Company of Heroes
For those planning on starting Thomas on Sun, I'd reconsider. Pierre Thomas: Pierre Thomas has new injury Darn, with PT and Moreno questionable and unknown how much DBrown or JDavis get to start the season, looks like Mike Bell may need to be my first waiver pickup. Yuck.
Menudo
I'm not overly concerned about PT long term, but, it does stink that he is likely to miss a juicy week 1 match-up. Especially, when RB3 is my weakest spot right now, with Ward, J. Stewart, Hightower, & Fred Taylor as my other options. I'll likely go w/ Hightower vs. SF if Pierre can't go, which seems like it is going to be the case.

Yuck. you are yucking now but when he goes 70/2 you will be patting yourself on the back for being such a wise FF owner. or better yet don't pick him up and you won't have to yuck. BearBroncos
I still think there is a chance for PT to play because this game has all the elements for a strong running attack if NO gets an early, strong lead....But, as stated before, it might be a Mike Bell show. I'm hoping that PT's injury is just over stated and he's technically 100% other than the stitches. But, I don't think I will be taking that chance myself. I guess I'll give F. Jones in my flex spot for week 1........... (I'm scared)
Mr Hammock
I have done 3 local auctions thus far and this guy gets no respect. Would you guys like him as your RB2? Do you think he's under value or over valued? I know he's hurt but it doesnt appear his injury affected anyones value on him in my locals...I even got laughed at in one league. In my 3 local and my opinion, I think he is extremelly under valued. I don't know what to think about him but I feel close the same way as you do.
