Lost
Let me start by saying I am NOT an Oakland fan at all. That franchise has been destroyed by Al Davis (IMO) and it has not looked pretty in any means. I kept telling myself prior to my draftthat I would not draft any Oakland players at all today. With all that being said, I just couldn't pass up drafting Heyward-Bey in the 16th (out of 17) round! Yikes!!!! How could he drop so far? I mainly was looking for a keeper for next year, but what overall value does he have? Oakland seemed really high to pick him as the first WR taken in the draft this year, so they must see something in him. I haven't seen much talk about him and I never really saw too much of him in college, but I hear he has the size and speed to be a decent receiver (just on a crap-ass team)! Anyone have any insight on this guy?
DMD
You have to believe that the guy probably has zero fantasy value this year with the OAK offense led by Jamarcus Russell being one of the worst passing teams in the league and without any WRs that would be a #1 or even a #2 on almost any other team. Heyward-Bey seems likely to be miscast as an everydown player when he seems more likely just another speedster who lives and dies on catching long passes. That means in the best of all cases, he won't be consistent enough to warrant being a fantasy starter this year. For the future - I suppose he should get the benefit of the huge doubt, but why would we expect the Raiders passing situation to improve in 2010? Bottom line - he's a deep ball threat on a team that doesn't throw well.
SheikYerbuti
In my 4 leagues this year (two 10 teamers and two 12 teamers) he wasn't drafted in any of them.
tbimm
He was taken in the last round of my family league draft by my cousin who is a Raiders fan and went undrafted in my local league.
FishFreak
He just reminds me of the 2nd coming of Troy Williamson. A lot of speed with hands of stone. Everyone has "upside" and "potential" but he looks one dimentional to me thus far.
SLAYER
When i do my ramkings there are a lot of players I leave off for one reason or another(if they are not on the sheet they don't get drafted no matter what) DHB was one of them
