RussMan
According to Cowboys beat writer Eddie Sefko, Wade Phillips expects the "heavy lifting" to be "evenly split" between Marion Barber and Felix Jones. Source: Dallas Morning News As a Felix Jones owner this sounds promising. Proof is seeing it on gameday.

giantsfan
I would love for this to be true. Grabbed Jones in the late 6th and 1st pick of the 7th in my two leagues. But, I'll believe it when I see it. I still think it's like 65%-35% or something. Maybe 60%-40% at best. And while I think Jones gets a few RZ carries I still think most go to Barber. This is promosing though. We shall see.
i_am_the_swammi
As a Barber owner, I hope this is true. he was never more valuable than when he split 50/50 with Julius Jones. Gimme 13-15 carries per game, all the goalline looks, and a handful of receptions a week, and I'd be stoked. No doubt this increases his chances of staying healthy the entire year. BearBroncos
This would be great news. I put Jones in my flex spot in place of PT hoping that something promising would come out of it....... Hope this really happens.......Oooo, and some goal line carries as well

Hugh 0ne
If Felix can maintain his 8.9 YPC this will be very good news.
Avernus
If Felix can maintain his 8.9 YPC this will be very good news. I think this bodes well for Felix in a PPR.....he could be extremely lethal...
BearBroncos
prob is he won't be getting all the goalline looks. I wouldn't put allot of stock in that. Remember, J. Jones moved up the draft just to get this Alma mater. F. Jones was the exact running style Jerry was looking for for the dynamics of his team. Don't be surprised that if F. Jones does well that the percentage of carries switch some what rapidly. Edited September 8, 2009 by BearBroncos
Bronco Billy
Nothing for Choice by anyone projecting so far. Not even 1 carry per game. Interesting...

Actually, I see Choice playing a much larger role this year. Choice has to good of hands and speed not to be in a 2 backs set.

Hugh 0ne
Actually, I see Choice playing a much larger role this year. Choice has to good of hands and speed not to be in a 2 backs set. The only way Choice plays a larger roll is if F. Jones gets hurt. Last I checked Jones has a bit of speed and decent hands himself.

Hugh 0ne
Hence I stated a 2 back set. I stopped reading after your first sentence. That being said, Choice will have little if any fantasy value barring an injury imo.

I don't disagree. I should have qualified larger role. A larger role in that he will receive more playing time this season then last but won't have allot of FF value unless either F. Jones or Barber get injured. I do see him getting around 5 carries and 20 to 30 yards in receiptions with maybe 1 TD.
Goopster24
More touches for both of them, especially in the passing game, now with Owens gone. Drafted both in separate leagues, looking forward to see what they can do.
