Double Agent
He's a tight end fella's. A tight end. Things will be fine in Norman, just fine. Â He's a very good TE...maybe the best in college football. He was crucial this year with the offensive linemen and WRs lost. Gonna be a long year for the Sooners I'm afraid. Boomer Sooner
people come outta the woodwork to kick dirt on the Sooners. Â Bottom line - we love our team, win or loss. This just isnt our year.

This just isnt our year. Just me, but the Sooner fans really turn me off the year LSU played OK for the BCS NC in 2003. Talk about a bunch of woosies. Sooner fans inside teh French Quarter ran every time we tried to Tigah bait them versus Buckeye fans in 2007 who enjoyed the experience. . This just isnt our year. Â I'm shocked that you, of all Sooner fans, are giving up hopes for a good year? The Sooners will win the next two games and then Bradford will be back for the Miami game. It's way too early to write them off. Perhaps, the bar has been raised so high that a possible 10-2 or 9-3 season is a letdown? Â And I sit here a fan of a 2008 0-12 team rejoicing in the fact that we played well against a Top-15 team and only lost by 8?

So yea, that goal wont be reached this year.
detlef
He's a tight end fella's. A tight end. Things will be fine in Norman, just fine. I know it's fun to poke sticks at OU fans but...  He's a very good TE...maybe the best in college football. He was crucial this year with the offensive linemen and WRs lost. what he said.  I'm shocked that you, of all Sooner fans, are giving up hopes for a good year? I agree that OU can salvage what many schools would consider a fine season, especially when you consider what's happened out the gate. One would hope that would be enough. If the bar's been raised too high, I can't, for the life of me understand why. It's not like their fans have been getting used to them winning any meaningful games out of conference for a while.  I'm sure this is where Sooner fans will chime in and say they simply expect more from their teams than do fans of "lesser" teams. Oh, lookie here! Right on cue!  NC or bust. Well, "busting" must be getting pretty old by now, eh?  Hey, UNC hoops actually manages to treat those of us in these parts with a pretty regular National Championship. But we also realize that they're not the only great program in the country. When it doesn't line up, it doesn't line up. Then you just hope you beat Duke and all is good. Oh, lookie here! Right on cue! Â Yep...us Sooner fans have been spoiled. Win or lose...we've been in the MNC hunt more times than not lately it seems. I've got a bad feeling that this year reality will set in. Which may be a good thing. Â I just want to win a freakin' bowl game. And I'd like to see healthy college football. I never like to see a kid get injured...regardless of which team.

McSooner
Long time, no see. welcome brack. Good to be back. I was out of FF for a while due to time constraints. I'm still freaking water logged from last night. Broyles is Mark Clayton reincarnated. Calhoun and MIller are going to be fun to watch at RB next year.
