The only reason I have SD with the best record is because they get to play six games against DEN, OAK and KC.

 

The only reason I don't have DEN, OAK or KC as the team with the worst record this year is because they get to play four games against each other.

Oakland makes Denver and Kansas City look good,

 

They have a chance to give the NFL two 0-16 teams in a row.

 

Al Davis will NOT pull Russell no matter how big of a bust he is.

 

Why else would he have cut Garcia?

 

They're so bad, Richard Seymour would rather not play this season than play for them.

I think GB has the potential to be really good this year. If that D can just improve a little bit, then GB has a chance to really shine. They are playing in a pretty tough division but I think they can be great. I think Oakland actually had a decent off season and will surprise some people. IMO, Tampa is going to take a couple of huge steps back this year and be pretty bad. Their D isn't anything special anymore, and their offense could be really bad this year.

Oakland's Defense actually might keep them in a number of games... just a couple of big plays from McFadden/Bush and they should be alright. Not good mind you, but not the worst in the league either IMO.

 

I'm thinking that Tampa Bay is on the verge of complete and total implosion. I picked them for the worst this year.

I voted MIN and STL, just based on wild-ass hunches. the pats are the obvious choice, but you have to really wonder a bit about their defense right now.

 

I went MIN and oakland. I too, wonder about the Patsies D this year. I think if MIN keeps Favre healthy they have everything else needed to be an incredible team.
