ABearWithFurniture
I'll take Buffalo winning over New England...division rivals, the Bills have a few new faces, and Brady will need a week or two to throw off the rust.
Avernus
Raiders winning at home vs Chargers... there aren't many lopsided matchups... I mean, based on the spread the Seahawks should kill the Rams, but I think the Rams can win that one...
lions suck
Lions smoke the Saints!!! Ummm.....Nevermind.

BeeR
lol @ Bills or Lions winning. No and I mean no way is that happening. Both will get slaughtered. I also like Jags over Colts. That's always a battle.

Wpob
Really, I do not see many upsets this week. But to pick one, I will say 49ers over the Cardinals.
Crazysight
I don't see too much for big upsets. niners over the Cards seems possible. Jags over Colts moreso. I think Tampa over Dallas could happen too. Edited September 10, 2009 by Crazysight
Crazysight
St. Louis possibly over Seattle if that defense has improved some for Louis. According to the lines that would be the biggest upset that seems realistic to me (Seattle -9.5). Though you never know. Washington might have a good shot at the Giants too as 6.5 point underdogs. I mean, based on the spread the Seahawks should kill the Rams, but I think the Rams can win that one... no way - based on what? I think Seattle is rolling by halftime - even money Bulger is doesn't make it thru the game home opener at Qwest + Rams = blowout taking a dog with a good shot at an upset, I would roll with WASH over NYG
i_am_the_swammi
Redskins and their Top-5 defense over a NYG team that struggled offenseively without Plax last year...a trend I see continuting this year as Eli has no one to throw to. darin3
How about this... absolutely NO upsets, and the only dog that covers is Washington.

darin3
So then you're picking the Packers over the Bears? Yup, I already said it in the Bears/Packers thread.... tough way to start a season with a new QB. FudgePackers will take this one, but we'll get our revenge in the Windy City. Capt. Stanky
I'm calling the Bears over the Packers. I think it's funny how GB seems to be every analysts sleeper pick this year. Their offense is great, but they couldn't stop anyone last year, and this will be the first game running the 3-4 defense. There's bound to be some growing pains and I think GB's defensive growing pains will out weigh Cutler's. I really don't think it's that much of an upset though. Cutler has the same experience our defense does. It's not a problem for him but it is for the defense? I would call it even but the Bears secondary is beat up and it's not a good sign in this game. Seahawks21
I can see the Rams winning. They always play the Hawks tough and when your O-line is as bad as Seattle's, and you won't be able to run well enough to put a team away, anything can happen. Too lazy to look, but man I hope that Colts/Jags game is on TV. Always a great game regardless of talent. Peyton owners will whine about the 13-10 final though. I can't get on board with Buffalo but I think the game could be somewhat close.
