If anything, the one thing that seems consistent with the Saints and Brees passing game is that there is a lot of instability. Devery Henderson goes off and then vanishes week after week. Robert Meachum, same, and remember Terrence Copper and his 100 yard games awhile back? This makes Moore look like just another in the mix. He had a few great weeks last year, then a couple more 30 yard games. I think we have to expect this. The one thing that really worried me was Shockey's involvement. This is just one more option for Brees to use...which it's conceivable he will use from time to time. Knowing when to start Moore could be next to impossible. Just have to plug him in and hope. I only have him as a backup, so I can watch this for a few weeks, but my inital reaction has me contemplating dropping him for a Burleson, maybe Justin Gage or Chansi Stuckey, with whom there might at least there might be a little more consistency and seemed to take some nice first steps yesterday. Since he threw up 7 "duds" last year, you are probably right. Or maybe next week is another dud then he goes off the next two weeks. This feels like betting red/black. Now well just have to see if Shockey misses his customary 8 or more games hurt before he cashes in on his other 3-7 TDs this year. As far as L.Moore, with so much distribution going on it was odd to see him as the one going with out (so to speak) but I still think he will be a good WR in the Saints offensive attack. I have a feeling someone will get nicked up and Moore will benefit..Henderson always has a Hammy INJ dosent he? and the aforementioned Shockey comments, plus how many games can R.Bush go before he gets ding'ed again? why cant he just decide to be a WR? lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
