Scorcher
Johnson and Parker both have brutal schedules and both seemed to get stuffed all day last week. They look like they are in for a lot of physical punishment. Do you think either one will still be standing at the end of the season? Double Agent
Don't know but I'm starting LJ this week I think. So he'll probably rush for 30 yards.

Coach1310
In my opinion.... Larry Johnson won't be worth a roster spot by mid season. I think Charles will take over due to his abilities out of the backfield and the Chiefs hopes to go in another direction. I still think Parker is going to have a solid year. I'm convinced that Pitt knows it can't win with Big Ben running this way and that, getting thrown to the turf over and over again. They are going to have to run the ball if they want to have a chance at heading to the SuperBowl. Pitt's schedule is much easier than last year and like has been said on the boards already.... 2 matchups with each of Cincy and Cleveland and not to mention some other powder puffs..... Not sure I agree. Charles has not really shown anything that would indicate he is better than Johnson. And Charles has been known to put the ball on the ground. That does not bode well AT ALL with Haley.

FinZone
Im thinking LJ might end up better than Willie Parker....I absolutely think he is garbage, he goes down at the slightest touch. In past seasons he might have a few decent games, but I have never seen a RB record more carries for less yardage on a regular basis than this guy. Just give the ball to Mewelde Moore....he is much better any way you look at it than WP. Now that I got that venting out of the way...LJ seems better in a RB2 or flex IMO
BeeR
I avoided both big time this year. Not that who I got instead was amazing, but did not trust LJ to hold up and be worth a flip at all, FWP might if he held up but he won't. I did draft Mendenhall really late but he might not be worth a spot soon either.....M Moore might be the guy.
tosberg34
We should probably include Westbrook in this thread as well. I think all 3 of them are not going to last very much longer.

With you being a KC guy, I know you have a lot more inside info and watch the games/news a lot closer. My thought process is that Haley seems to like a type of Wide Open offense that in my opinion suits Charles more than Johnson. It will be interesting to see the Chiefs evolve once Cassell gets under center.
matt770
Somebody just put Parker on the block in my league, says he wants to trade for another running back.
BearBroncos
I'm hoping that Pit gives Mendenhall some more opportunities. I think the kid had talent when he holds the ball (key word there) but Parker just aint cutting it for them. Granted, they are wanting to become a pass first team but I think they will come to the realization that they just aren't designed to pass first run later. HowboutthemCowboys
This should be interesting... The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette outlines the plan of attack the Steelers will use in deploying their run game at Chicago in Week 2. Willie Parker will start and is expected to be used in the first two series, then Rashard Mendenhall will come in for one series. They'll rotate from there with Parker getting twice the series. Mewelde Moore will also see playing time on passing downs and when the Steelers go into a no-huddle offense. Adding to the intrigue of the situation is that offensive coordinator Bruce Arians won't count on one guy for short-yardage or goal-line situations. "Anytime Willie gets tired, he can come out," Arians said. "If we get into a very long no-huddle mode, Mewelde is the no-huddle guy and we'll rotate from there. In short yardage, goal line, whoever's in the game."
WaterMan
Parker didn't look too fast in Week 1.
