I have merriman, worried he is more a name than actually a fantasy stud this year...it has ony been 1 week, but curious if I should drop him to pick up either Tulloch on Tenn (v Hou) or Gaither on Phi(v NO)....

any thoughts would be appreciated

Scott

How does your league score the defensive players...if they reward sacks and big plays like forced fumbles and fumble recoveries, I would be likely to ride Merriman, but if you are a tackle heavy league....I would take Tulloch. I still think Mays will end up MLB in Philly before the end of the season...just a gut feeling.

Shiz is correct that scoring system is hugh..especially with a guy like Merriman....Tulloch should be an above average fill in but if you read that Thornton is healthy and gets nickle snaps back you could see Tulloch lose some value....as for Mays I disagree that he will end up starting by years end....for starters he was inactive in week 1....if you want to see why I think Gaither keeps the job just read the blog that I wrote on it before the battle was decided.

No, I read that...and it made perfect sense...I just never liked Gaither in the middle...he looks slow and doesn't seem to hit with a vengence like Trotter or Bradley. Lets just call it...my brain says Gaither will play, but there is something inside screaming Mays after about the 7-9th game.
