Bronco Billy
strained quad night...year... Semantics, schmemantics.
Big Ernie McCracken
Obviously we'll find out, but I'd make sure I had Tashard Choice if I were a Barber owner
i_am_the_swammi
Better get up on Felix Jones. Thanks for the insight. Good thing he's available in almost every league.
Big John
strained quad Or a hamstring according to this
Skrappy1
Or a hamstring according to this Definitely looked like he grabbed the front of his leg last night right before he went down in a heap, so I would guess more a quad issue. Grits and Shins
It looked to me like he grabbed his quad. What concerned me was that he gave up all concern for the ball and was entirely focused on his leg ... which makes me think it hurt pretty bad. Big Ernie McCracken
It seems that for MBIII, who seems to be as tough as any player, to drop in the middle of a key TD run, I imagine he must have felt something that got his attention. If he's gonna miss time Choice will emerge as a force running inside. They need to limit Romo's chances to screw up and will have to run to compete IMO. detlef
What always strikes me as funny about these threads is that, if you're in a reasonably normal league, it's not like you can go and pick anyone up on Monday morning anyways so you may as well wait it out and figure out what, exactly, is wrong. Hell, any sane league should have some set waiver period (blind bid or worst to first) but at very least not some feeding frenzy that rewards those who stay glued to their computer. So, even after the final gun sounds tonight, you shouldn't have to worry about it until, at soonest Tuesday evening. So what difference does it make right now? Guessing he's gonna have an MRI if he hasn't already and everyone should know in plenty of time to pick up whomever they need to. Provided, of course, he's even out there. LayLow
Choice in on the wire in everyone of my leagues. People assumed Felix would get more work if Barber went down and discounted Choice.
Big Ernie McCracken
Choice was very good against tough competition in limited work last year.

RJV
Thanks for the insight. Good thing he's available in almost every league. That's laughable if its true. I grabbed him in the 13th round. In a 12 teamer.

degenerate
here's the latest i've found: The Dallas Morning News reports that Marion Barber's quad injury is just a strain, and not considered serious.
Balzac
here's the latest i've found: The Dallas Morning News reports that Marion Barber's quad injury is just a strain, and not considered serious. SJax missed a month last year with a quad strain - for a RB, I don't think there's such thing as a strained quad that isn't serious for fantasy football purposes. I'm betting Barber misses at least 1 game, which is why I'm blowing my #2 waiver priority on Choice.
Youre Going Down
It looked to me like he grabbed his quad. What concerned me was that he gave up all concern for the ball and was entirely focused on his leg ... which makes me think it hurt pretty bad. It reminded me of Fred Taylor that one year when he tore his groin and fumbled.
Henry Muto
Choice in on the wire in everyone none of my leagues. Fixed for my leagues I work with someone who is in a league where you can pick up players at anytime even on Sunday's during games. Redonkulous! I would never play in a league like that...even though I would probably be the primary benificiary on it since I am glued to my tv/computer during every play of every game.
