Any info would be helfpul, thanks in advance. as a long time westbook owner, i long ago got used to his game time uncertainty. the problem now is i don't own westbrook anymore, but do own the mccoy backup, and would love to start him against kc. you would think the eagles would rest westy, since their bye is next week. any homers with more info? thanks

Tough to believe anything you "hear" nowadays.
countrychuck
The reason I posted to begin with is because I'm also a McCoy owner (not Westbrook), and was hoping to get a start out of McCoy against that not so stellar KC defense. But Reid said the swelling came way down and he's likely to play. Edited September 24, 2009 by yo mama

i_am_the_swammi
With McNabb out, and Jackson questionable, I would be shocked if Westbrook doesn't play (especially with two weeks to rest following the game). in a game they can't afford to lose. he is typcially held out of practices when he is dinged to ensure he can go gameday. For all the hoopla of Westy being injured all the time, reality is that he has only missed 3 games the last 3 years.
ABearWithFurniture
reality is that he has only missed 3 games the last 3 years. Actually, he's missed 3-4 starts...last year he was GTD almost every week past the 4th game of the season. He would have probably healed faster if he'd just set out a few games instead of playing for a quarter and then limping off the field.
