Not hearing/reading much out of Philly on the status of Westbrook. Does anyone know for sure what his status is for this week? Any info would be helfpul, thanks in advance.

as a long time westbook owner, i long ago got used to his game time uncertainty. the problem now is i don't own westbrook anymore,

but do own the mccoy backup, and would love to start him against kc. you would think the eagles would rest westy, since their bye is next week. any homers with more info?

thanks

Have Mccoy to and would start him almost certainly if Westy couldnt go, maybe even if I hear they will split.

He didn't practice today. His status for Sunday won't be determined any sooner than Friday. But Reid said the swelling came way down and he's likely to play.

With McNabb out, and Jackson questionable, I would be shocked if Westbrook doesn't play (especially with two weeks to rest following the game).

in a game they can't afford to lose.

he is typcially held out of practices when he is dinged to ensure he can go gameday. For all the hoopla of Westy being injured all the time, reality is that he has only missed 3 games the last 3 years.

Actually, he's missed 3-4 starts...last year he was GTD almost every week past the 4th game of the season. He would have probably healed faster if he'd just set out a few games instead of playing for a quarter and then limping off the field.
