Tford Posted September 26, 2009 Share Posted September 26, 2009 While I think there is better opportunity for Davis as teams are in a better position to run on Carolina since they have been ahead early and the defensive line is less intimidating with Maake Kemoeatu on IR, I think the uptick in stats is partially due to Jon Beason's ailing knee. When Beason gets to 100% and Carolina gets their running game going, I doubt the major opportunity is still there for Davis. Still a solid LB2/3 but I don't think he drops LB1 numbers the whole year.
